ANZASW – Registered Social Worker (3061)
Hello, Kia Ora, and Welcome to Supervision with Excellence; I am excited we have found each other!
Let me tell you a little about myself so you can get to know each other. I live in Rotorua, New Zealand, and have two adult children and one moko (grandchild). I have been married to my wonderful husband for 20 years.
My hobbies and pastime include attending classic car shows with my car, gardening, reading, knitting, and sewing. We also have the privilege of fostering puppies and dogs until they can find their forever homes – such fun!!!!
Fourteen years ago, in 2008, I became a social worker. From my experience, I know we often work in emotionally charged environments with challenging circumstances; we give so much of ourselves every day. We can use supervision to recharge, recover, reflect and review.
Often your workplace offers supervision from a different lens – they want to look at meeting KPIs and caseload numbers. Not to mention they ask you to explain why you haven’t done this and why you chose to do that. Is your supervisor your direct line manager and someone that is not even relatable?
You deserve to have supervision that is focused on you, driven by you, and supports you to grow. A relationship you feel safe in to explore your practice and access self-nurturing.
My supervision services can help you accomplish exactly what you need to love yourself and move forward.
Early in my career, in 2010, I began supervision within my workplace. In 2016 I started a private practice helping others. Recently I had the opportunity to offer support to students seeking mentorship and guidance. I can help during your studies and as a new graduate moving into the workforce.
I can help make your transition from the classroom into the workplace smooth. Don’t wait until problems arise and find yourself with no one to guide you. Now is the time to start!
Now that you know me a bit let’s get started; I really look forward to meeting with you soon.
All sessions I provide, no matter the format or your needs, meet the association and board requirements.
PS: The first session is free! This gives us the opportunity to meet and greet with no pressure and a chance for me to get to know you.
